Sue gave me a great idea. I love the whole Buddy Blogging idea. I think that is great for students that do not have computers at home. With Buddy Blogging, younger students will be able to develop a wealth of knowledge that I hadn't even thought about. I have never had the opportunity to have any of my students create a technology project where they worked with other students from a different grade level. I think that is a short term project that very well could work if I found an upper grade teacher that would be willing to work with me.
Has anyone else worked on Buddy Blogging project? Do you think it could work?

I teach 2 to 5 year old special education students with different disabilities. We already do a program where a fifth grade class come and reads to our students one on one. Maybe we can incorporate buddy blogging by having the fifth graders do a blog each time they ready to the students to reflect on the experience and the book. The fifth grade teacher can use it in her curriculum, and it would be nice for our parents to be able to see what they are doing with their mentors.
